When: enensis-hemiansatus conodont zone, Hanonet Formation, Eifelian to Eifelian (393.3 - 383.7 Ma)
• The age of the Hanonet Formation in southern Belgium is variably dominantly late Eifelian or Early Givetian due to its diachronous character. In Couvin (Couvinoise quarry), the Eifelian/Givetian boundary was identified in the basal part of this unit based on the first occurrence of the conodont P. hemiansatus.
