• This was originally part of the Caparo Formation, but that is now restricted to the Sandbian.

• "Most of the shells are disarticulated, consistent with a normal level of turbulence and oxygenation. The community group [Janius] and diversity indicate a BA 3 assignment."
• "Occurs mostly in shell lenses, and as scattered shells, in poorly bedded mudstone."
