Environment/lithology: fluvial; unlithified, gray, green, carbonaceous claystone and unlithified, brown, green, yellow, carbonaceous siltstone

• Fossils are recovered from a small river system of the "Ur-Naab" drainage. This is incised into Triassic bedrock. The channels are a few 10's of meters deep and 1-2 km wide. Sediments vary rapidly, both laterally and vertically.
• Yellow-green sand-rich clays, and grey-green lignitic sands and lignitic coal, the latter with grey partings.
