• The bed of blue, somewhat arenaceous shale is relatively rich in plant debris, including float of Sphenopteris flaccida. Spirorbis (animal) is also abundant. Another bed shows large branches. Also present is Sphenopteridium sp., and lingulids (brachiopods).
