When: Palmatolepis crepida zone, Vilemovice Limestone Formation, Early/Lower Famennian (376.1 - 370.6 Ma)

Environment/lithology: reef, buildup or bioherm; lithified wackestone and packstone

• light colored coral-stromatoporoid wackestone to packstone, with large coralla of Syringopora sp., small nodular or tabular coenostea of Stromatopora sp., and with stems of Amphipora moravica. Microfossils are represented by radiolarians and ostracodes. Fragements of thin-shelled brachiopods, crinoid ossicles, porifera spicules, are common amongst the small-size debris. Accumulations of porifera spicules - mostly monaxons - were locally important.
