• "Castellar Fmn...measures 160m...Above its basal 30 m (still in Hercynic Facies), there are 7m of marls...Upward the contents increase in silt and mica and, later, in fine sand increase...Individual beds of crinoid or shelly limestones are present...Some shelly beds appear ferruginous...The average fauna of ferruginous, marly siltstones id dominated by large-sized brachiopods..."
