• Cromerian, pre-zone Cr IV, probably pollen zone Cr IIIb. Younger than West Runton. Late Lower to Early Middle Pleistocene. Three samples were taken from this horizon (B) which is the second lowest in the sequence approximately 0.5m thick and 1.5m above the arbitrary base level.
