Environment/lithology: reef, buildup or bioherm; lithified limestone and lithified, gray, green shale

• Crystalline limestone interbedded with dark grayish green shale layers. Predominantly limestone in upper part with shale partings. Lower part predominantly shale. Limestone layers thin. Shale beds are more fossiliferous. Gradual transition to underlying shale.
