• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From either the Popple bed or the Glauconitic Marl, which overly chert beds (Albian) and are overlain by the Lower Chalk (Late Cenomanian). AGE: Early Cenomanian, on the basis of ammonite biostratigraphy; Mantelliceras mantelli Zone. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From contact of the Popple bed and Glauconitic Marl.

• COMMENTS: Shallow marine siliciclastic setting.
