Also known as Yonghesuchus holotype site
Where: Shanxi, China (36.6° N, 110.7° E: paleocoordinates 42.3° N, 91.8° E)
• coordinate based on nearby landmark
• small collection-level geographic resolution
When: 2 Member (Tongchuan Formation), Ladinian to Ladinian (242.0 - 228.0 Ma)
• Member 2 of the Tongchuan Formation; Tongchuan Formation disconformably overlies the Ermaying Formation. Member II of the Tongchuan Formation has been radioisotopically dated at 238.6 ± 2.6 Ma and 234.6 ± 6.5 Ma using SHRIMP U-Pb analyses [31]. This suggests a Ladinian to Carnian age
• bed-level stratigraphic resolution
