• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Fite Ranch Sandstone Mbr of the Tres Hermanos Fm, which overlies the Rio Salado Tongue of the Mancos Shale, and is overlain by the Presado Tongue of the Mancos Shale. AGE: Middle Turonian, on the basis of ammonite biostratigraphy; Prionocyclus macombi zone. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From units 18-20, at top of section.
