Where: Alaska (68.3° N, 162.2° W: paleocoordinates 32.7° N, 11.5° W)
• coordinate based on nearby landmark
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Kuna Formation, Serpukhovian (330.9 - 323.2 Ma)
• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Kuna Formation, which is overlain by the Siksikpuk Fm (Carboniferous-Permian). AGE: late Late Mississippian to early Middle Pennsylvanian (Chesterian to Morrowan); placed in Serpukhovian to avoid stratigraphic orphaning.
