Type specimen: MPEF-PV 6752, a mandible (mandible with symphysis and left i1-m1). Its type locality is Gran Barranca - southern cliff of lake ColhuĆ© HuapĆ, which is in a Colhuehuapian terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
