Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: IVPP V 22770, a partial skeleton (a nearly complete skeleton with an intact skull and associated but mostly disarticulated postcranial elements). Its type locality is Dajian of Wangjiazhai Village, Xijiadian Town, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Yuhuangding Formation of China.

Ecology: scansorial carnivore

Distribution: found only at Dajian of Wangjiazhai Village, Xijiadian Town
