Type specimen: IVPP V12357, a skull (partial skull and associated lower jaws). Its type locality is Lingcha, which is in an Eocene terrestrial siliciclastic in the Lingcha Formation of China.

Ecology: arboreal insectivore

Distribution: found only at Lingcha
