Type specimen: Museum of Comparative Zoology, Holotype MCZ 981. Its type locality is section 24, T15N R50E, Sprinkle locality HH-1, Horse Heaven Mountain, which is in a Llanvirn marine limestone in the Copenhagen Formation of Nevada.

Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at section 24, T15N R50E, Sprinkle locality HH-1, Horse Heaven Mountain
