Sister taxa: Dimeropyge clintonensis, Dimeropyge speyeri, Dimeropyge spinifera, Dimeropyge tumidus
Type specimen: Its type locality is Loc. 2. edge of quarry, just north of RR tracks ΒΌ mile west of Strasburg Junction, which is in an Ashbyan carbonate limestone in the Edinburg Formation of Virginia.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution:
• Ordovician of United States (2: Virginia collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
