Sister taxon: Zodiolestes daimonelixensis
Type specimen: UF 206245, a skull (crushed skull with right P3-M1 and left P4-M1). Its type locality is Thomas Farm, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Alachua Formation of Florida.
Ecology: scansorial carnivore-omnivore
Distribution: found only at Thomas Farm
