Sister taxon: Zodiolestes freundi
Type specimen: FMNH P12032, a partial skeleton (an articulated skeleton, almost entire). Its type locality is Zodiolestes Locality, which is in a Harrisonian terrestrial horizon in the Harrison Formation of Nebraska.
Ecology: scansorial carnivore-omnivore
Distribution: found only at Zodiolestes Locality
