Type specimen: NMV P17167, a set of postcrania (humerus). Its type locality is Devil's Den, which is in an Aquitanian/Burdigalian marine marl in the Gellibrand Marl Formation of Australia.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Devil's Den
