Type specimen: AMNH VP 30009, a partial skeleton (skeleton lacking distal portions of anterior limbs and most of the hind limbs). Its type locality is Ar Rhyashia, which is in an Oligocene lacustrine - small shale in Yemen.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Ar Rhyashia
