Type specimen: NHMW 2005z0152/0001, a mandible (sin. with p4-m3). Its type locality is Taatsiin Gol West, Valley of Lakes, Central Mongolia, section TGW-A, which is in an Oligocene dry floodplain sandstone/mudstone in the Loh Formation of Mongolia.
