Type specimen: NHMW 2005z0199/0001, a tooth (M1 sup. dext.). Its type locality is DEL-B/12, Valley of Lakes, Central Mongolia, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Hsanda Gol Formation of Mongolia.
