Type specimen: UMMP 9905, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is East side of Little Bay de Noc, which is in a Richmondian carbonate limestone in the Stonington Formation of Michigan.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at East side of Little Bay de Noc
