Type specimen: CPC-59, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Cerro de los Dinosaurios, 7A Quarry, which is in a Campanian estuary/bay mudstone in the Cerro del Pueblo Formation of Mexico.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Cerro de los Dinosaurios, 7A Quarry
