Sister taxa: Albanerpeton arthridion, Albanerpeton cifellii, Albanerpeton ektopistikon, Albanerpeton gracilis, Albanerpeton inexpectatum, Albanerpeton nexuosus, Albanerpeton pannonicum
Type specimen: UA 16203, a partial skull (pleft premaxilla). Its type locality is Verdigris Coulee (UA-MR-6), which is in a Santonian terrestrial sandstone/shale in the Milk River Formation of Canada.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of Canada (12: Alberta collections), United States (6: Montana, Texas, Utah, Wyoming)
Total: 18 collections each including a single occurrence
