Type specimen: MAFI V.22000, a partial skull (Fused pair of nearly complete premaxillae, articulated with anterior end of right maxilla). Its type locality is Csarnota locality 2, which is in a Ruscinian/Villanyian karst horizon in Hungary.
Distribution: found only at Csarnota locality 2
