Type specimen: GSWA F43896, a shell (Articulated shell). Its type locality is GSWA F94218, Jimba Jimba, Gascoyne River, which is in an Artinskian shallow subtidal packstone/lime mudstone in the Jimba Jimba Formation of Australia.
