Type specimen: UNEFM-VF-041, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is FMU 029, which is in a Tortonian estuary/bay sandstone in the Urumaco Formation of Venezuela.

Ecology: aquatic herbivore

Distribution: found only at FMU 029
