Belongs to Delaria according to D. K. Brezinski 1992
Sister taxa: Delaria antiqua, Delaria chinatiensis, Delaria granti, Delaria sevilloidia, Delaria snowi, Delaria westexensis
Type specimen: USNM 447546, a pygidium. Its type locality is USNM703c, Old Word Ranch, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian slope limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution:
• Permian of United States (17: Texas collections)
