Belongs to Delaria according to D. K. Brezinski 1992
Sister taxa: Delaria antiqua, Delaria brevis, Delaria chinatiensis, Delaria granti, Delaria sevilloidia, Delaria snowi
Type specimen: USNM 447549, a pygidium. Its type locality is USNM721j, Hess Canyon, Glass Mountains, which is in a Roadian slope limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

• Permian of United States (4: Texas collections)
