Type specimen: IVPP V140, a partial skeleton (tooth, 3 vertebrae). Its type locality is Locality 1, Changshanling, Potzewan, which is in a Toarcian terrestrial horizon in the Ziliujing Formation of China.

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of China (1 collection)

• Jurassic of China (3)
