Belongs to Eoletes according to S. G. Lucas et al. 1997
Sister taxa: Eoletes tianshanicus, Eoletes tshakpaktasensis, Eoletes xianensis
Type specimen: KAN 5088/69, a skull (skull with left and right P1-M3). Its type locality is Shinzhaly, which is in an Irdinmanhan terrestrial mudstone in the Kolpak Formation of Kazakhstan.
Ecology: ground dwelling browser
Distribution: found only at Shinzhaly
