Type specimen: F:A.M. No. 42998, a limb element (complete right humerus). Its type locality is Indian Stronghold (Protoceras Channel), which is in a Whitneyan fluvial sandstone in the Brule Formation of South Dakota.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Indian Stronghold (Protoceras Channel)
