Type specimen: F:A.M. No. 42999, a limb element (distal end of right humerus). Its type locality is Cedar Pass (Leptauchenia Clays), which is in a Whitneyan terrestrial horizon in South Dakota.

• Oligocene of United States (2: South Dakota collections)
