Sister taxon: Romeria texana

Type specimen: MCZ 1963, a skull. Its type locality is Cottonwood Creek (Moran Fm.), which is in an Asselian terrestrial horizon in the Archer City Formation of Texas.

Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore-herbivore

Distribution: found only at Cottonwood Creek (Moran Fm.)
