Type specimen: AMNH 26921/1:5, a shell (Articulated shell). Its type locality is AMNH309, Pan de Azucar, Amotape Mountains, which is in a Bashkirian/Moscovian marine horizon in Peru.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at AMNH309, Pan de Azucar, Amotape Mountains
