Type specimen: CNHM (FMNH) UR 138, a partial skeleton (partial skull and lower jaws, forelimb, femur, and part of scapula). Its type locality is Locality FA - Pipe Site, which is in a Leonardian pond shale in the Choza Formation of Texas.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Locality FA - Pipe Site
