Type specimen: FMNH PE 52741. Its type locality is trilobite zone G-2, Hintze C section, Ibex area, which is in a Tulean shallow subtidal limestone in the Fillmore Formation of Utah.

Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal detritivore

Distribution: found only at trilobite zone G-2, Hintze C section, Ibex area
