Belongs to Copenychia according to J. Kříž 2005
Sister taxon: Copenychia pristina
Type specimen: MGM 3565ab, a shell (internal mould of left valve and its counterpart). Its type locality is Section north-west of the El Pobo de Dueñas, which is in a Telychian coastal shale in the Bádenas Formation of Spain.
Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Silurian of Spain (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
