Type specimen: University of Alberta Geological Museum Ct. 542, a shell. Its type locality is Murray River (East Pine) [Kaskapu Fm], which is in a Turonian/Coniacian marine shale in the Kaskapu Formation of Canada.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Canada (5: Alberta, British Columbia collections)

Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
