  • Paleolimulus signatus: USNM 483405. Its type locality is Stockdale Recreation Area, Tuttle Creek Lake, which is in an Artinskian shallow subtidal limestone in the Fort Riley Formation of Kansas.
  • Paleolimulus avitus: YPM 26324, 26317, 26325. Its type locality is Elmo, YPM 1921 collection, which is in an Artinskian pond limestone in the Wellington Formation of Kansas.
