Type specimen: SDSNH 25219/3176, a limb element (left humerus). Its type locality is San Diego Formation ("Lower"), which is in a Piacenzian foreshore horizon in the San Diego Formation of California.

Distribution:

• Pliocene of United States (1: California)

Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
