Type specimen: GSC 13777, a shell. Its type locality is GSC 26406, Lyall River, Grinnell Peninsula, Devon Island, which is in a Roadian offshore shelf sandstone/limestone in the Assistance Formation of Canada.

Ecology: slow-moving semi-infaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at GSC 26406, Lyall River, Grinnell Peninsula, Devon Island
