Type specimen: a specimen in the collection of G. Winston Sinclair, a shell. Its type locality is Cobourg, which is in a Shermanian/Edenian carbonate limestone in the Cobourg limestone Formation of Canada.
Ecology: fast-moving nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Cobourg
