Type specimen: PIMUZ A/I 3730, a limb element (Fin spine). Its type locality is Bear Lake, which is in a Spathian marine shale in the Thaynes Formation of Idaho.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Bear Lake
