Type specimen: Holotype UF 50000a, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Dickerson Limerock mines, Haile complex, Alachua County, which is in an Eocene deep subtidal packstone in the Ocala Limestone Formation of Florida.
Ecology: epifaunal detritivore
Distribution: found only at Dickerson Limerock mines, Haile complex, Alachua County
