Type specimen: SMU 62208, a tooth. Its type locality is Glass Local Fauna, which is in an Albian marine horizon in the Paluxy Formation of Texas.

• Cretaceous of Canada (7: Alberta collections), France (7), Spain (3), United States (44: Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas)
