Type specimen: UCLA 59426, a shell. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 27083, east of Bahía Sebastian Vizcaino, which is in a Paleocene marine sandstone/conglomerate in the Sepultura Formation of Mexico.

Ecology: epifaunal omnivore-grazer

Distribution:

• Paleocene of Mexico (1 collection), United States (1: California)
