Type specimen: USNM 3671851, a shell. Its type locality is USGS Loc. 3856 - Mossyhead [Shoal River Fm], which is in a Serravallian marine marl/sandstone in the Shoal River Formation of Florida.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
